Deutsche Bahn Tender for Automated Maintenance of ICE Long-Distance Trains
A strong consortium consisting of Strama Group, Götting KG, and Gestalt Robotics wins the public tender for the project “E-Check”. In E-Check we will jointly develop and implement next-level automated maintenance solutions for ICE 3 and ICE 4 trains for several locations across Germany.
We are focusing on intelligent software services for:
AI-based visual inspection services and software/model pipelines based on our upcoming product InspectAI
High-performance communication for distributed automation scenarios involving cloud and edge-based on our upcoming product AutomateOS
Control of mobile robots and manipulators using modules of our control Stack NavigateSYS
We are looking forward to a challenging project and close collaboration with our partners in order to effectively strengthening rail traffic in Germany. That good news represents another important milestone for our company. We are hereby following up on our successful PoC implementation that we finished end of last year within the DB mindbox program.
