secureAR has won the BMBF Technology Award

A few days ago, the final conference "Sustainably shaping data-oriented value creation" for all BMBF-funded projects of the funding guideline "Internet-based services" took place in Kassel.

Our project secureAR has won the BMBF Technology Award. Winning this award is a milestone for the project and confirms the performance of the entire team over the 3 project years. A big thank you to everyone in the consortium as well as the project executing agency who contributed to the success. A big thank you must also go to Jan Guhl, our project leader in secureAR.

Jan Guhl, project leader in secureAR

The objective of the project secureAR is to research and develop innovative services in the industrial production environment. The research field of augmented reality (AR) is to be transferred into applicable solutions.

For this purpose, a cloud-based service platform with open interfaces should be provided for various industrial sectors. The service platform collects data along the entire value chain, from planning and production processes to plant maintenance. It enables location- and situation-based provision and visualization of the data via a novel AR assistance system.
